This intimate, all-inclusive retreat is a chance to immerse yourself in the art of making while building friendships, eating delicious meals, and recharging in a warm, inviting, luxury home.

November 1-3, 2024 in Cle Elum, WA

Join The Works' Founder, Kellie Phelan, and three of her talented staff for the weekend of a lifetime. With five premium workshops, five creative stations, all food and drinks provided - even an immersive hands-on learning lunch - there is something for everyone.

Outside of our creative time together, we're looking forward to spa time - between the sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub - a craft and movie night, and many more special surprises.

  • All of your meals, snacks, and beverages - homemade with love - from Friday lunch to Sunday breakfast. We can accommodate gluten-free and vegan diets. If you have questions about other allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact us before booking.

  • Scheduled downtime so you have time to relax and recharge, whether that includes a walk in the woods, retreating to your room to read a good book, or time in the sauna or hot tub.

  • We'll welcome you with a bag full of thoughtful goodies. You'll go home with all of your completed projects, the skills to continue to explore these unique crafts at home, and a very, very full heart.

When you sit down for meal or visit the always-stocked beverage bar and snack station, The Works’ staff will make sure you feel like you're at a boutique hotel or a fabulous dinner party.

We'll use fresh, seasonal ingredients and prepare all of your meals and snacks from scratch in the home's chef's kitchen. The food will be healthy-ish, vegetarian-leaning, beautifully presented and always absolutely delicious.

The Food and Beverage Experience

Here's a sneak peek at some of the homemade dishes we're planning:

  • French breakfast crepes

  • Freshly baked focaccia

  • Roasted cauliflower and garlic soup

  • Butternut squash risotto

  • Cinnamon apple quick bread

  • Harvest lunch salad bar

  • S'mores bar

  • Italian spritzer

Expect hearty breakfasts and lunches. And for dinner, you'll sit down to an elegantly plated, four-course meal with wine one evening. The other night after a festive aperitivo hour, you'll enjoy a multi-course Italian-style meal.

During the hands-on learning lunch you'll make and eat fresh cheese, from-scratch tortillas, salsa macha and more - and you'll bring home all of the recipes and know-how to make them again at home.
